Product Overview
The ASRock H610M-H2/M.2 is a compact DDR4 motherboard for an Intel desktop used for everyday work, study or a discrete-graphics gaming build. Its Intel H610 chipset brings together essential storage, display and wired networking connections in a micro-ATX layout.
The LGA1700 socket supports 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Intel Core processors. Check the exact processor against ASRock’s CPU support list and BIOS requirements before assembly. Two DDR4 DIMM slots support dual-channel memory, up to 64GB total, with DDR4 support up to 3200 and Intel XMP 2.0. Memory operation depends on the chosen CPU, modules and settings.
A PCIe 4.0 x16 slot operating at x16 accommodates a discrete graphics card. An additional PCIe 3.0 x1 slot provides expansion for a suitable add-in card; check case space and graphics-card clearance when planning the build.
For storage, the board provides one PCIe Gen3 x4 Ultra M.2 socket and four SATA3 ports. The M.2 socket accepts 2242, 2260 and 2280 PCIe SSDs and supports NVMe boot drives. Realtek Gigabit Ethernet supplies wired networking, while rear USB ports and internal USB headers cover everyday peripherals.
Two HDMI outputs support compatible displays up to 4K at 60Hz when paired with a CPU that has integrated graphics. These outputs will not provide a picture with a processor lacking integrated graphics. Realtek ALC897 audio, a CPU fan header and a chassis/water-pump header round out the core connections.
